So, as many of these blog posts start we just so happened to be scrolling through the gram and stumbled across a MUA soaking their face in water for 30 seconds to set her foundation. First thought was WTF? How could this ever work. All that foundation that cost you £20 a bottle, concealer and primer just to have it get washed away with water? No way.

Makeup YouTuber Leyla Rose apply's her foundation and concealer as normal, using Too Faced Born This Way foundation and then Maybelline's Fit Me concealer, followed by Urban Decay's Naked Skin concealer. After applying her foundation and concealer, she then apply's Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder, however uses a hell of a lot more than normal to test this method, applying the powder everywhere.

Instead of brushing off the excess powder after 'baking', you soak your face in water for 30 seconds. Crazy we know! Check out these YouTube tutorials here:
