Olivier Rousteing has done it again. The Balmain FW16 collection was just spectacular. The militant look that so many of us adore, was contrasted with soft materials such as fur, tassels and silk which added a feeling of 19th century romanticism. This contrast was also highlighted in the music - powerful rock played alongside the elegant sound of the violin which was orchestrated live.
The collection screamed "I am a dominant, independent woman - but I am also elegant and feminine". The pastels and nude tones which cropped up reinforced this feeling of femininity, whilst the series of black pieces bellowed power.
Despite the catwalk show starting 30 minutes late, it was well worth the wait. Kendall Jenner opened the show in a pastel blue striped bodysuit and duster coat, together with a fur skirt and over the knee suede boots. The model strutted down the catwalk wearing a blonde wig, whilst Gigi Hadid rocked the collection as a brunette.
I've tried my hardest to pick out my favourite looks from the collection, but it's been SO hard as I'm in love with EVERYTHING.

It's a beautiful place, having such an open and joyous feeling to it. It's totally amazing! This is definitely a wonderful place to spend time. It's plenty fun to sit at LA venue and enjoy food and drinks with amazing conversations.
